In a joint effort to promote Dutch-language theatre texts in French-speaking regions, Dutch Performing Arts and Flanders Literature organise a translation workshop for contemporary theatre texts, in collaboration with Maison Antoine Vitez (Centre international de la traduction théâtrale) and La Chartreuse (Centre national des écritures du spectacle).
Goal of the workshop is to familiarise (aspiring) translators of the genre with the specificities of theatre text and to expand the available number of translators who can translate theatre texts to French.

About the workshop
The six-day workshop is geared to (aspiring) translators who wish to (further) explore the theatre genre. This call is open to beginners as well as seasoned translators who want to learn more about the translation of theatre literature.
