Open Call for symposium IMPACT16: BRUCHZONEN - RIFT ZONES
How and where do alternative realities come about both in and between different fields of knowledge? How can we productively uncover contradictory “rift zones” in today’s world? What kind of frameworks for action can we cultivate?
IMPACT16 is a 4-day symposium with extensive interdisciplinary exchange. The symposium is organised by and takes place at PACT Zollverein, Essen, Germany from 23-27 November. There will be 30 participants (artists, scientists and experts from other varied fields) and the programme consists of 3 one-day workshops with 3 artist collectives (formations (DE), RYBN.ORG (FR) and Hood (DE)). The working language is English.
IMPACT16 is aimed at artists and advanced students, practitioners and theoreticians from the natural and social sciences, technology, architecture and urban planning, philosophy, political activism, as well as from the visual and performance arts.

March 31Classical:NEXT and Operadagen Rotterdam will both take place at the end of May. Dutch Performing Arts works closely together with these organisations to introduce and present (new) Dutch work, musicians and companies to international presenters from 22 - 28 May 2016.
