In a special programme titled Temps fort Pays-Bas, interdisciplinary festival Actoral will spotlight the work of 6 Dutch makers and companies from 2-11 November in Marseille, France. The Dutch programme is organised in the context of Dutch Performing Arts | en France as the result of a close collaboration between Festival Actoral, Dutch Performing Arts and the Dutch embassy in Paris.

A taste of the best Dutch theatre for young audiences

In collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, and in celebration of the 40th anniversary of youth theatre De Krakeling, Assitej NL organises a showcase of Dutch theatre for young audiences from 5-7 October in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Over the course of three days, international performing arts professionals visit a range of full-length performances and take part in a networking brunch.

Research on musical mobility in the Lowlands

Dutch Performing Arts and Flanders Arts Institute took the initiative to closely investigate the musical mobility in the Lowlands: What opportunities are there for Belgian artists to perform in the Netherlands and vice versa? And what room or need is there for improvement? Journalist Dimitri Vossen shared his insights from the research report and the roundtable discussion organised by Dutch Performing Arts and Flanders Arts Institute. The article (in Dutch) was written and published in collaboration with Gonzo (circus), a bimonthly magazine on new music and culture.

Visitors' programme Nederlandse Dansdagen

In collaboration with Dutch Performing Arts, Nederlandse Dansdagen organises a visitors' programme for international performing arts professionals. Programmers and directors from theatres and festivals can choose from a selection of Dutch shows, including premieres of Ann Van den Broek's performance Blueprint on Memory and Florentina Holzinger's performance The destruction of Florentina Holzinger by Pieter van den Bosch.



Visitors' programme November Music

November Music and Dutch Performing Arts closely work together on an international visitors' programme taking place from 8-10 November, to introduce (new) Dutch work, musicians and companies to international presenters. The programme includes performances of Ragazze Quartet, Silbersee, and works of Kate Moore, Mayke Nas, Jan van de Putte.

Dutch World Stage at off-WOMEX showcase

Together with World Music Forum NL, Dutch Performing Arts is representing Dutch artists and music professionals at WOMEX. The annual five-day event will take place in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria from 24-28 October. The Netherlands are well-represented through a collection of Dutch stands at the trade fair, a trade dinner and networking reception. Three Dutch acts have been selected to perform as part of the off-WOMEX showcase, on the Dutch World Stage commissioned by Dutch Performing Arts.



The Performing Arts Fund NL announces the new submission deadlines for its grants for venues and festivals based outside the Netherlands. Organisations can apply for a grant for the programming of performances and concerts by Dutch companies, ensembles and performers.
